Deconstructing Race

Examining Race as a Social Belief,  Not a Biological Fact

We’ve been taught the wrong question.

What if race isn’t about belonging but about conditioning? Deconstructing Race is an independent intellectual magazine and community platform dedicated to examining race as a historically constructed belief system rather than a biological reality or fixed identity.

We explore how racial categories were created, how they were institutionalized, and why

they continue to organize social life even after their scientific collapse.

This is not a lecture.

This is not a panel.

This is not a debate stage.

This is a facilitated space for inquiry.

WHY WE EXIST?

Deconstructing Race Magazine and Website exist to examine race as a historically constructed belief system rather than a biological truth. We create space for courageous, evidence-based dialogue that challenges inherited assumptions and exposes how racial categories are maintained through law, culture, and institutions. Our mission is to cultivate mental clarity, collective healing, and intellectual accountability inviting individuals and communities to question conditioning, dismantle hierarchy, and reclaim our shared humanity.

Our Online Magazine

"The Black Face of D.E.I."

In this 3rd edition,
we ask, "What happens when a system built on racial hierarchy learns to wear

The Mask of Inclusion?"
DEI was never meant to change power. It was designed to make power look diverse.

That is... "The Blackface".

And once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
In this issue, George Middleton exposes how CRT became a weapon to silence racial truth and how the shift to "MEI" is removing Black leaders under the banner of merit. Mutahir Bey deconstructs identity beyond the checkbox. Larry Smith draws the line from the 1966 slam dunk ban to today's DEI rollback.

Evelyn Rai Blunt covers the SCSU students punished for refusing to be silent.
This is not comfortable reading.

It is a necessary reading.
